How to play

Open the GameTio Dorm Game game page, select Play to open the developer’s itch.io page, then select Run game there. The official page lists this as an HTML5 browser game.

The dorm and its puzzles

It is the last day of the semester and the dorm has emptied out. The official description says you can leave once your final project is submitted, but other people’s requests lead to more rooms and problems.

Explore your room, toilets, the laundry room and maintenance corridors. Pick up and combine items, solve puzzles, and use objects on the environment. The page mentions dials, panels, valves, fuse boxes and an old handheld console.

Demo scope and controls

The page labels this an approximately 20-minute demo and lists its status as In development. It describes around 30 locations and close-up views, auto-save and three manual save slots.

Left click to look, use, pick up or talk; drag an inventory item to use it. Right click goes back or drops the held item. Esc opens the pause menu, and Space highlights interactive hotspots when hints are enabled.
