Begin with the browser demo
Open Stackapult by GLukaz. The author says the browser demo includes 12 castles in the Forest biome. The same page advertises a separate full game with 36 castles, Snow and Volcano areas and full upgrade progression. Those extra areas should not be expected in this demo.
Stack your ammunition
Each shot begins with slabs sliding over your tower. Tap or click to drop a slab. Anything overhanging the edge is sliced off. The author says precise stacking creates a larger boulder; PERFECT drops can build combos and larger projectiles.
Aim and fire
Set the angle and power, then press FIRE. Enemy ballistas shoot at your catapult, guards and slab pile, making this a turn-based siege. The listed goals include knocking out the king and conserving slabs to earn three stars.
The page lists a Workshop for spending gold on permanent upgrades, including wider slabs and a stronger catapult. It does not give an optimal purchase order. Wind and the Snow and Volcano descriptions are part of the full-game pitch; this guide does not assume those features are available in the Forest demo.
