How to play

Open the GameTio game page for Llama Roguelike (work in progress), choose Play, then select Run game on the developer’s itch.io page. The official page lists this as an HTML5 browser game.

How does combat work?

According to the official page, each combat gives you five actions. Running out before defeating the enemy ends the run. Press 1 to spit, 2 to kick or 3 to defend. Kicking requires recovery on the next turn; defending reduces incoming damage and counterattacks.

How should you arrange the backpack?

Items improve spit and kick attacks and activate from left to right, then top to bottom. Additive items add damage; multipliers affect only the damage accumulated before them. The developer recommends placing additions before multipliers. Drag items to rearrange them and hover to read their effects.

What happens between fights?

After a victory, the shop offers items, packs, re-rolls and permanent improvements. Each ante contains three enemies and a boss. The page says defeating the boss of ante eight wins the run, after which you can continue in endless mode. Press H for in-game help, E for ante enemies and M for sound.
